BE 405 THE BOOK OF GENESIS

Build your knowledge of the Old Testament through this study of the second and third books of the Pentateuch. Meet Moses and follow the plagues that God brought upon Egypt to release His people from slavery. See how God gives Moses the law at Mount Sinai and examine portions of that law. Leviticus teaches cleanliness, morality, and hygiene, and requires animal sacrifices as a covering for sin. INCLUDES AUDIO LECTURES. Prerequisite: CC 180

 The first five books of the Bible are referred to in Scripture as The Law. While keeping the law cannot save a person from their sin, the law defined sin and established the shedding of blood as the only atonement for sin.
