Follow the activities of the first-century church as presented in the Book of Acts. Luke’s investigative report begins with the presence and power of the Holy Spirit that was given to the church at Pentecost. This historical account documents the struggles of the early church and the solutions to overcome those problems. Luke also traces three missionary journeys of the Apostle Paul for the establishment of new churches. INCLUDES AUDIO LECTURES. Prerequisite: CC 190
The Book of Acts is the only Book listed under the category of New Testament History. However, the book appears to have an open ending, suggesting that the story of the church continues. In that sense, believers today are living out the ongoing history of the church.
